Joining the REALTOR® Association of the Greater Pee Dee (dba Pee Dee REALTOR® Association (PDRA)) as a REALTOR® member automatically extends membership to the South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Real Estate professionals who hold REALTOR® designations are proven leaders in the industry and, on average, earn more annually.

What is a REALTOR®?

A REALTOR® is a professional real estate practitioner, not only directed to provide proficient services by the law, but guided by a Code of Ethics that is set by the Pee Dee REALTOR® Association, the South Carolina REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Local Member Benefits

Multiple Listing Service

The MLS is a separate service with fees that provides all the necessary tools and training to help participants better serve their clients and customers. Some of these tools include: Courthouse Retrieval Systems (CRS), ListHub, and REALTOR® Property Resource (RPR).

Networking

Membership meetings offer members a great opportunity to network with fellow members and affiliate members. These events are offered to PDRA Members at no charge.

The Latest Technology

We are pleased to offer our members access to the latest in real estate technology including Zipforms and ShowingTime as perks of their membership.

Community Service

PDRA believes in giving back to the community. Our Association hosts several fund raisers throughout the year for local charities including, but not limited to, Harvest Hope Food Bank.

REAL ESTATE WEEKLY magazine

Members get discounted advertising rates for the Association’s biweekly full-color magazine.

New Member Orientation

This course is for new applicants and covers local, state and national information, anti-trust, fair housing, Code of Ethics, contracts, agency and more.

Professional Standards

One of the Association’s objectives is to encourage and foster high ethical standards in our profession through the adherence and enforcement of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, Inc.

ShowingTime & InfoSparks

ShowingTime is an easy to manage showing service. 

InfoSparks is an interactive market analytics tool to share housing information from area comparisons to customizable variables to trend analysis.

Local Association Web Site

The PDRA web site provides a public and private resource including helpful links, calendar of events, membership rosters, etc.

Information and Communications

In addition to regular newsletters, PDRA sends out frequent broadcast email updates containing upcoming events, educational offerings and pertinent information.

Legislative Advocacy and RPAC

Our RPAC/Legislative committee monitors local legislation and communicates legislative activity impacting the REALTORS® of the Pee Dee region. PDRA members are encouraged to become involved in the political advocacy by (1) investing in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), which is a powerful voice on issues that affect the real estate industry; (2) respond to Calls to Action; (3) get to know their legislators and elected local government officials.

Safety

PDRA is concerned about the safety of its members. We are pleased to offer a variety of safety training classes including self-defense and concealed carry. Our members also can access Forewarn, a FREE app that allows them to screen potential clients before they meet them at homes.

Professional Development and Continuing Education

Members can achieve success and earn more by attending high quality educational and designation programs. The State and National Associations also offer frequent webinar programs on a variety of topics. PDRA also partners with education providers to offer our members a variety of continuing education classes, onsite to our members.

Legal Hotline

The State Association offers a hotline for members to call with legal questions regarding such issues as agency, disclosure and other legal matters REALTORS® face in today’s real estate industry.

The State Association offers members local and state forms using Zipforms software.

Governmental Relations

“The Voice for Real Estate,” stay informed and feel good knowing you are well represented on key issues affecting your livelihood; take part in Calls to Action, Grassroots Networking, REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and Issues Mobilization.
